Layla will be seen in two opera scenes:
As Third Lady in Act I scene 2 trio of Die Zauberflöte, “Zu Hilfe!”
&
As Ursule in Act II scene 3 trio of Beatrice et Benedict, “Je vais d’un cœur aimant”
Double Bill: L'Enfant and The Classical Style
Layla will be seen onstage during Peabody Opera’s Fall Double Bill, in the Stuckey opera The Classical Style.
Layla will be the Subdominant Chord.

Honors Day presentations
I will be involved at Honor’s Day at Birmingham-Southern College.
I will be performing at the Honor’s Day Department of Music Recital.
I will also be presenting on William Billings, as a pioneer of American music.
Whittington Concerto and Aria Winners Concert
The Frances Dorsey Whittington Concerto and Aria Competition is held every other year at Birmingham-Southern College. The winners of the Whittington Competition will perform with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.
The 2024 Finalists Concert will feature Layla Tajmir, Mezzo-Soprano; and Charlie Yaeger, piano.
BSC Choir Tour
The Birmingham-Southern College Choir will complete a tour to Montgomery and Mobile, AL, and New Orleans, LA.
